Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a crash on Route 355 Frederick Road and Shakespeare Boulevard in Germantown on Saturday afternoon. The collision involved two vehicles with multiple injuries (at least 6 patients), and has been declared a “mass casualty incident” according to MCFRS chief spokesperson Pete Piringer.
