ORLANDO, FL ( FOX 44 ) — The 18th-ranked Baylor Men’s Basketball team picked up a key Big 12 Conference win on Wednesday night, as the Bears beat UCF.

Early on, the story of the game was the hot start offensively for the Knights, who scored 38 first half points, as the Bears went into the break facing a six-point deficit.

From there, Baylor and UCF traded runs, before Scott Drew’s team eventually went on an extended run, outscoring the Knights 18-5 over a nearly 10-minute stretch to take the lead for good.

The star of the show for the Bears offensively was sophomore Langston Love, who continues to shine for Baylor during Big 12 play. He led all scorers with a career high 24 points as he finishes in double figures for the seventh straight game.

With the win, the Bears improve to 15-5 on the season ahead of a two-game home stretch, which starts on Saturday, February 3rd when they host Iowa State at 7:00 pm.
