Update: Missing Indian River County woman found safe in Orlando

INDIAN RIVER COUNTY — A 27-year-old woman missing since early Thursday was found safe Friday afternoon, law enforcement officials said.

Kendyl Kirby, 27, was found safe in Orlando with a friend. No foul play is suspected, said sheriff's spokesman Kevin Jaworski.

Authorities were alerted after Kirby, last seen around 1:30 a.m. Thursday at Stixx Pool Hall in unincorporated Indian River County, was reported missing, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were actively trying to find her, said Jaworski, but there was no indication that Kirby was in danger, Jaworski said.
