Disney World staff rescue unconscious woman who fell off the Pirates of the Caribbean ride into the water

This is the moment Disney World staff pulled an “unconscious” woman from the water inside the Pirates of the Caribbean ride at the Magic Kingdom.

A video shows the woman rolling over her ankle into the water while clambering out of the ride in Orlando, Florida.

She disappears from view while staff rush to help her – and when staff pull her back into view of the camera, her head is flung backwards.

Fellow riders says she “looked unconscious”.

One said: “There were about four or five boats all jammed up.

“We were in the last boat and they couldn’t get the boats forward or move us.

“Staff then started to evacuate the ride when a lady rolled over her ankle and went first into the water.

“She disappeared under the water, when they pulled her up she wasn’t moving at all.

” When we got our of the ride, we thought staff would want to speak to us but all they wanted to do was get us onto the park.

“They gave us a free ride pass – seemed like they wanted people to disperse.”

A few minutes into the ride, it suddenly halted and five boats jammed on July 29, 2024, another rider said.

One tourist who was in last boat thought it was part of the ride experience, but became concerned when staff started evacuating people.

While staff were getting passengers off the ride, a woman stood on the edge of the boat but fell into the water, he said.

The visitor was then asked to stop filming and claimed everyone on the ride was given a free pass for another ride in the park.

Disney World has been approached for comment.
