Four Orange County residents, including two children, were taken to the hospital Monday after they were seriously injured in a fire involving gasoline, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Orange County deputies and crews from Orange County Fire Rescue responded to reports of a fire in the 7200 block of Hiawassee Oak Drive around 6:30 p.m., according to statements from the agencies. A woman in her twenties, two children and a fourth individual were found. A gas can was ablaze at the scene when crews arrived, according to Fire Rescue.

The children were taken to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children. The other two were taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center and Orlando Health Winter Park. The woman and children were trauma alert burn victims.

Investigators have yet to interview the woman about what happened because of her injuries. The State Fire Marshal will investigate the cause of the fire.
