Visitors to the Oviedo Mall can travel around the world without leaving Central Florida, thanks to a program that highlights global cuisine in the Seminole County space.

The mall’s “ Festival of Flavors ” takes place during the month of October with 18 diverse dining options. These include savory Italian, Mexican, Japanese, Mediterranean and more.

Guests can pick up a dining passport from any of the mall’s participating restaurants. When patrons spend $10 or more at each location, they will receive a stamp on their passport. Upon collecting all 18 stamps, participants can turn in their completed passport for a chance to win up to $500 in prizes.

“Our food court and restaurants represent an amazing cross-section of international flavors, and we’re excited to offer our guests a way to explore everything we have to offer,” said Josh Gunderson, director of marketing and events at Oviedo Mall, in a news release. “The Festival of Flavors encourages people to try new dishes, support local vendors, and enjoy a rewarding and fun experience while they dine.”

Completed passports can be submitted at the designated collection box near Oviedo Olive Oils by 8 p.m. Oct. 31. Winners will be selected in a random drawing within one week after the event concludes.

Visitors are encouraged to share their culinary finds on social media by tagging the Oviedo Mall and the restaurants they visit.

“We want everyone to join in the fun by sharing their culinary journey with us,” Gunderson said. “It’s a great way to bring the community together and support our amazing small businesses.”
