    OPENINGS & CLOSINGS:

Build-out for Moso Nori, the temaki bar by James Beard Award finalist Henry Moso, is nearing completion in the City Place complex at 1100 S. Orlando Ave. in Winter Park. Moso Nori will begin serving hand rolls by mid-November. Meanwhile, Moso Nori 2 is slated to open in the Fountains at Bay Hill plaza in Dr. Phillips in early 2025 ... Doshi, the modern Korean restaurant in Winter Park, will close at the end of the month. Owner-restaurateur Johnny Tung cited rising food and labor costs and other economic hurdles as the reason for its closure, but said the search is on for a new, smaller location for Doshi ... Meanwhile, Top Chef Season 3 winner Hung Huynh is back in town working to elevate the offerings at Mills Market. But the journeyman chef is really here to work on his new restaurant concept with Tung. Details to come ... Corazón by Baires, billed as "an immersive dining experience blending international culinary techniques with a diverse range of fresh ingredients to create Latin American-inspired dishes" opens Oct. 23 at 8126 International Drive. The 12,000-square-foot restaurant promises "magical focal points from every seat" ... Beignets & Brew, an expansionist Miramar Beach, FL-based chain specializing in the hot powdered-sugar-covered dough pillows, will open next month in the old Downtown Credo space in the North Quarter at 885 N. Orange Ave. Traditional and specialty beignets as well as smoothies, "power fizzies" and, of course, coffee will also be served ... Violet's Ice Cream Boutique has opened at the Ellington in Oviedo Park. Other food and beverage options at the apartment complex include Jinya Ramen Bar and CFS Coffee Shop ... The Kia Center, home of the NBA's Orlando Magic, will see a couple of new food vendors join the fray — Atlanta-based Big Dave's Cheesesteaks and Apopka's Nauti Lobstah, home of the biggest lobster roll in the state ... The Burger Jawn, a new food truck whose chef-owners make their own burger patties, fries, sauces and buns, is parked at 800 N. Mills Ave. — next door to Dong-A Supermarket, and across the street from the Strand.
