GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Nebraska Junior Golf revealed its Players of the Year for each division on Thursday now that the summer season is nearing its end. In the Boys 16+ group, Grand Island Senior High alum Prestin Vilai earned the honor for the second year in a row. This summer, he repeated as champion at the Central Nebraska Junior amateur, among other accolades.

Gordon-Rushville crews battling fires as area experiences very high fire danger
RUSHVILLE, Neb. - Firefighters in the Gordon-Rushville area are battling two fires amidst very high fire danger conditions. One of the fires is located north of Rushville, approximately one mile south of Hands of Faith, according to Gordon Fire Chief Rich Haller.
