MIAMI — The Southern Yacht Club in New Orleans is home to four U.S. Sailing Olympic medalists including Gilbert Gray who in 1932 won a Gold Medal in Los Angeles in the Star Class, G. Shelby Friedrichs Jr. won Gold in the Dragon Class in Mexico City, 1968 and most recently, John C. Lovell who received a Silver Medal in Athens in 2004 as well as numerous other national and international champions.

Wide receiver Cedrick Wilson Jr. joins a familiar offensive system looking to carve out a role and put points on the board. Wilson joins the Saints from the Miami Dolphins where he appeared in 15 games with 22 receptions for 296 yards and three touchdowns in 2023. Wilson said the Dolphins offense he played in for the last two seasons is very similar to the offense coordinator Klint Kubiak is implementing and that he is "very comfortable with it."

The Chicago Bears have somewhat of a logjam unfolding at offensive tackle. They drafted Kiran Amegadjie in the 3rd round last April. It is a fair assumption he will be on the main roster after final cuts in August. That is notable because last year, they only carried one backup tackle. If they plan to do the same this year, Amegadjie is the favorite to be that guy. This leaves the Bears with a decision to make regarding Larry Borom. He’s been their primary backup since he was drafted in 2021. They could carry a fourth tackle, but it is possible they might look to trade the veteran.
