The UCF Knights Volleyball team enters the 2024 season revamped after a challenging 2023, including the loss of key player McKenna Melville and head coach Todd Dagenais. With Jenny Maurer taking the reins as head coach and a returning roster, the Knights are set to tackle the Big 12 with a relatively easier schedule this time. Last season they finished 17-12 overall (8-10 in Big 12), placing them tied for eighth in the conference. Expectations for the current season are modest, as they are projected to finish 11th in the preseason poll while embracing new talents in the middle-blocker position. The Knights begin their campaign against Virginia Tech on August 31 before their home opener on September 19.
