Rochester man faces rape and firearm assault charges. (ABC 6 News) – A Rochester man faces rape and firearm assault charges in Olmsted County Court. According to court documents, Rochester police responded to an assault call in northwest Rochester on Thursday, July 4, after a woman allegedly said Davoren Lanell Broussard had threatened to kill her, and would “start shooting if he saw officers.”
Minneapolis murder suspect to return to Olmsted County if released from Hennepin jail
(ABC 6 News) – The suspect in a Minneapolis murder case appeared in Olmsted County Court Friday on one charge of interfering with a dead body. Margot Lewis appeared remotely Friday, July 5, where Judge Debra Jacobson and the prosecution determined that if the defendant was released from Hennepin County custody in the future, Lewis would return to Olmsted County custody on $1M bail.

State Patrol IDs Two Minnesota Men Killed in Separate Crashes
(KROC-AM News) - The State Patrol has released the names of two people killed in separate traffic incidents Tuesday night. One of the victims was a 19-year-old man from the Grand Rapids area. The State Patrol says Carter Haithcock of Goodland was fatally injured around 11:20 PM on Tuesday when he was struck by an SUV while he was walking in the traffic lane on Highway 169 in Nashwauk. The Grand Rapids woman driving the SUV was not hurt.
