Nationwide “End of Watch: Ride to Remember” tour honors fallen Joplin officers
JOPLIN, Mo. — Two Joplin police officers are part of a nationwide tour of honor, one that will make a stop in Joplin next week. Corporal Ben Cooper and Officer Jake Reed are among a large number of officers who’ve lost their lives in the line of duty since 2022. The traveling memorial is the “Beyond the Call of Duty” “End of Watch: Ride to Remember,” which is in the midst of a 64-day journey across the country. The stops are at police departments and sheriff’s offices whose men and women have made the ultimate sacrifice over the past 2 years.
A woman from Rogersville, Mo. was killed in a crash in Barton County
NEAR GOLDEN CITY, Mo. (KY3) -A crash between a car and a tractor-trailer has killed a woman from Rogersville. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports Aubren Dudley, 30, failed to yield at the intersection of Missouri 126 and Route T west of Golden City, her car hit the side of the truck.

GMFS Carterville United Methodist Church!
Cindy Myers with the City of Carterville is here to tell us about a fundraiser to preserve the United Methodist Church. It’s a FREE Concert but they are asking for donations, as the church is in need to raise some cash. Chuck Crain of the Presleys Country Jubilee in Branson, his wife, Sharon and Sherri Perry will be performing. All proceeds will benefit the church in order to preserve their rich heritage and keep the doors open to the public for years to come.
