Firehouse Subs has announced a new menu deal amidst reports of its latest closures. According to Mile High on the Cheap, the Powerade Victory Splash is now available for a limited time as part of a promotion for the upcoming Paris Olympics. Additionally, Firehouse Subs is offering a $10 Powerade Victory Bundle at participating stores, which includes a medium sandwich, chips, and a 22-ounce fountain beverage. This is the ideal meal to enjoy while watching all the excitement in Paris from July 8 to Aug. 8, 2024.

Evacuate now! Keller under Level 3 alert as Swawilla Fire grows to 30,000+ acres
KELLER – The Swawilla Fire, burning east of Coulee Dam, has grown to 30,667 acres with no containment reported. Level 3 evacuations, indicating immediate danger, have expanded as the fire continues its northward expansion. The following areas are now under Level 3 evacuation orders: everything from the junction of Joe Moses Road and Buffalo Lake Road to Cache Creek Road; everything south of Cache Creek Road to the junction with State Highway 21 and south to the Columbia River; everything west to Hells Canyon and northwest to just north of Elmer City at Hwy 155; then north of Hwy 155 to the junction with Joe Moses Road. The town of Keller and surrounding communities have also been upgraded to Level 3 evacuation status. Highway 155 remains open as of Thursday afternoon.
New Campground Limits Coming to WA Beginning August 18th
Beginning August 18th, all campgrounds in Washington State will have new limits on how many nights people can stay. The Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission recently approved the new limits, as of August 18th, campers can only stay ten consecutive nights in any campground in the state, within a 30-day period. Campers will also only be allowed to stay a total of 90 days per calendar year in all state parks.

Crews Battling new 800 Acre Lightning-Caused Wildfire in Nez Perce County
JULIAETTA - Firefighters are battling a new lightning-caused fire in Nez Perce County, located about 5 miles southwest of Juliaetta and just south of the Latah County line. The fire was sparked at around 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. According to Nez Perce Tribe Fire Management Officer Fire Jeff Handel, at about 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, the fire size was estimated at about 800 acres in size and no level of containment had been achieved.
