St. Cloud School District Among 22 in Minnesota to Receive Federal Aid for Students Facing Homelessness
(KNSI) — The St. Cloud Area School District is one of 22 in Minnesota receiving help to support students without permanent housing. The Minnesota Department of Education announced $1 million in federal aid from the McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act. The funds will be divided among the districts. The grant is meant to help schools navigate obstacles to students experiencing housing instability from enrolling, attending and succeeding in school. The MDE stated that these kids are considered most at risk of getting involved with crime.

Itasca County Sheriff's Office looking for missing individual
Itasca County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the help of the public in locating missing individual, Caleb Bolin. Caleb is 40 years old, 5’ 9”, and approximately 275 pounds. He has blue eyes and short red/auburn hair with a beard and mustache. Bolin was last seen leaving work from St. Cloud, MN on Tuesday, August 6th, between 10-11 a.m. He was wearing jeans, a sweatshirt, and most likely a stocking hat. There is reason to believe that Bolin may be located in Itasca County. If you have any information regarding Caleb, or his whereabouts, please contact the Itasca County Sheriff’s Office at 218-326-3477.
