Police say a man drowned in the pool of a vacant house
Police say a 43-year-old man drowned in the pool of a vacant house near 67th and Sheridan around 7 this morning. The owners of the house told police the house was for sale and no one was living there. Officers say the man lived nearby and knew the house was empty. TPD says they believe a small group of people decided to have a gathering at the pool.

TULSA, Okla.—The Wichita Wind Surge is in a 1-1 game at ONEOK Field against the Tulsa Drillers, which will resume tomorrow at 4:30 PM. While the Wind Surge had men on base in the first three innings, they got their first run in the top of the fourth on a Carson McCusker solo home run to the batter’s eye in center field.
