BOISE - The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced that Idaho will receive more than $2.2 million in Fiscal Year 2024 through the Specialty Crop Block Grant Program (SCBGP). The funding, provided by the USDA Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), is aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of specialty crops within the state. Administered by the Idaho State Department of Agriculture (ISDA), these grants will support 17 projects across the state, each designed to foster innovation, improve marketing, and strengthen the state’s specialty crop industries.
