Two Vehicle Collision near Ashton
Ashton, IA (KICD) — Three individuals were transported to the hospital in Sibley following a two vehicle collision near Ashton about 1 o’clock Saturday afternoon. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Department says 65 year old Barbara Dunaway of Overland Park, Kansas was Westbound on County Road A-34 and failed to stop at the intersection, where 41 year old Allison Behrendsen of Schleswig was Northbound on County Road L-40. Both drivers and a passenger in the Dunaway vehicle were taken by ambulance to the Osceola Regional Health Center.

Ocheyedan, Iowa — An Ocheyedan man has been arrested on felony drug charges after a search warrant was carried out at his home this week. According to a criminal complaint filed with the Osceola County Clerk of Court’s Office by the county sheriff’s office, 39-year-old Jeremiah Hormel of Ocheyedan is accused of the possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
