West Noble Tops Blackhawk in Boys Soccer Opener
The 2A 19th ranked West Noble boys soccer team started the season off strong by defeating 1A #13 FW Blackhawk Christian squad on the road 4-1. The game was played tough by both teams but the Chargers strong defense and ball movement allowed the visitors to come home with a win. Eddie Macias scored 2 goals for Chargers while Sebastian Carrillo and Julian Campos each netted 1 goal each. The Chargers fell 4-1 in the JV game.

Spotty showers will linger this evening before letting up for a few hours around midnight. A few spotty hit or miss showers will re-develop later tonight into Sunday morning. These showers will persist into Sunday afternoon before ending near dinnertime. Temperatures will stay mild tonight due to the humidity, likely in the mid 60s. The upper-low responsible for the rain showers will move out of here Sunday night which will cool us down into next week and turn skies mostly sunny by Monday. Temperatures will hold in the 70s through Thursday with very comfortable conditions. Next week looks dry every single day. The heat and humidity return next weekend with highs possibly in the 90s and dew points well into the 60s/70s.
