Mo. DNR awards $50K to Delta for wastewater system improvements
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KFVS) - The City of Delta was awarded a grant from the Missouri Department of Natural Resources to evaluate the city’s wastewater system. The grant, which totals $50,000, is part of the DNR’s Clean Water Engineering Report Grant program, according to a release. This program offers funding to small communities for wastewater engineering costs incurred in preparation of a facility plan report.

Multiple fire departments respond to a fire that destroys a shop at a Benton County campground. The Warsaw Fire Protection District says crews responded to a fire alarm at Camp OBR on Golden Acres Road last night. When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from the eaves of the shop building.
