This looks to be significant local major league baseball news, involving a much-appreciated Batesville native. MLB.com’s Christina De Nicola is reporting the Miami Marlins are going to re-activate BHS grad and ex-Bulldog Bryan Hoeing today, getting him off the 15-day injured list. Her report also says Hoeing will start on the mound for the Marlins tonight, against the White Sox. All that, as Hoeing appears to have successfully rehabbed his injured left hamstring. Best of luck to Bryan tonight, and moving forward.

After filing for bankruptcy, a small Arby's franchisee is selling some locations and closing others. Miracle Restaurant Group LLC, a company based out of Louisiana has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.
