Vehicle plunges into water at Colorado state park
A vehicle plunged into the water at Cherry Creek State Park on Tuesday, resulting in a rescue operation. According to South Metro Fire Rescue, their crew was on the scene of the incident a bit after noon with the vehicle in the water near the West Boat Ramp at the reservoir. Two drivers assisted with the help of the extraction of the vehicle. Ultimately, one person was transported from the scene with minor injuries. The incident remains under investigation. Nebraska receiving $307M as part of EPA $4.3 billion funding to reduce climate pollution
The Nebraska Department of Environment and Energy will receive $307 million to boost “climate-smart” agriculture and reduce agricultural waste from livestock, officials said. DCB legion baseball aiming for another state title run under new coach
BOELUS, Neb. (KSNB) - Dannebrog-Cairo-Boelus, or DCB for short, is last year’s Class C legion baseball state runner-up. The squad has several new faces, as well as a new coach, Scott Fries, who led the juniors the past few seasons. He takes over for Joe Noakes, who led the team to the last four state championship games, winning two titles.
