OSHKOSH, Wis. -- EAA AirVenture announced the return of the "World's Greatest Aviation Celebration," held in Oshkosh late July.

The EAA said multiple types of planes, both historical and modern, will be present at the air show from July 22-28. Flying cars and drones will also be shown, and attendees can chat with armless pilots, paralyzed pilots, and pilots from all over the globe.

In addition to featuring some of the largest planes in the world, the EAA said AirVenture will also have thousands of ultralights on display and in the air, ranging from powered parachutes and trikes to fixed wings, amphibians, and rotorcraft. The Canadian Snowbirds jet team will also perform in honor of the Royal Canadian Air Force's 100th anniversary.

For fans of more historical planes, the EAA said the air show will feature the last two B-29 planes in existence, along with an entire section of World War II and Korean War-era "warbirds." Biplanes built as far back as World War I will also be shown. AirVenture visitors can take a ride in a 1930s Ford Trimotor, the WWII B-25, and a Korean/Vietnam war-era Huey helicopter.

The EAA said some days of the festival will be dedicated to certain organizations. WomenVenture, celebrating women in aviation, will bring together female pilots, engineers, and aviation enthusiasts on July 24. NASA will also be present to discuss the new Artemis moon program.
