According to reports, 44,403 vets live here, putting Wyoming at #3 with 7,571 veterans per 100,000 people. This state is a good option for vets, with lots of open space, outdoor experiences, veteran organizations, no state income tax, and educational benefits, which are a few reasons a veteran may choose to live here.
Big Horn Beverage Donates to Folds of Honor
On Friday, July 12, at the Sheridan WYO Rodeo, Big Horn Beverage of Sheridan donated $5000 to the Folds of Honor (FOH) Scholarship fund. The money will fund one scholarship. Rodney (Rocky) Sickmann, a retiree of Anheuser-Busch and survivor of the Iran Hostage Crisis, accepted the donation on behalf of Folds of Honor, the non-profit organization that provides academic scholarships to the children and spouses of wounded or killed soldiers and First Responders.
