WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - FactFinder 12 has new information on a man’s state the night he was hit and killed by a Wichita police officer in February. Jeffrey Moss, 51, died on February 17, 2024, when he was struck by a Wichita police SUV along MacArthur in south Wichita. Moss was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk when he was hit.

Prison for road-rage beating death of 74-year-old Kansas man
BUTLER COUNTY —A Kansas man man is going to prison for a road-rage beating death of of a man in 2023. On July 10, Ashton McCoy, 24, was sentenced to 21-years in prison, according to Butler County Attorney's office. In May McCoy pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and aggravated assault.

HUTCHINSON, Kan. — The Greater Wichita YMCA and Hutchinson Regional Healthcare System (HRHS) announced Tuesday a partnership that will bring a new state-of-the-art Hutchinson YMCA facility to Reno County. The future 75,000-square-foot Y branch will be located on land donated by HRHS to the Y near the intersection of 20th Street and Lorraine; it will replace the Hutchinson Y’s current location at 716 E 13th Ave.
