The second half of the 2024 season has been one to remember for the Osseo/Park Center girls lacrosse co-op, with the Crocs picking up two Northwest Suburban Conference wins last week.

The Crocs started the week with a big 6-5 win over the Totino-Grace/St. Anthony co-op on May 6. It was OPC’s first conference win of the season. Rei Saez secured a hat trick in the win while Chloe Hubred, Sophia Jermstad, and Macy Patton scored a goal each to help. Goalie Chloe Lamothe faced 20 shots against Totino-Grace/St. Anthony, and made 15 saves.

OPC then defeated Coon Rapids 7-4 on May 8 to improve it conference record to 2-5, 3-6 overall this season. Patton scored a hat trick against the Cardinals, while Hubred scored two and Alli Olson scored one. Lamothe had 16 saves.

The pair of wins marks the most conference wins OPC girls lacrosse has earned in a single season since 2021. They won three NWSC games that season, then zero and one in the following two seasons, respectively.

OPC girls lacrosse will play its final regular season game of the year next week, traveling to the Breck School on Thursday, May 16, for a non-conference matchup.
