Meredith Historical Society awarded preservation grant for Oak Hill Meeting House
MEREDITH – Work has begun on repairs to one of Meredith’s most historic buildings. The New Hampshire Preservation Alliance, in partnership with the 1772 Foundation, awarded a $9,000 grant to the Meredith Historical Society to partially fund phase one of a rehabilitation project at the historic Oak Hill Meeting House located at 61 Winona Road. The grant will help address foundation issues, sill restoration, partial re-siding, and painting of the northeast and rear sides of the building.

LACONIA — Got Lunch Laconia is beginning its 14th season. This summer lunch program delivers healthy food directly to the child’s home each week. Although the target population is those families who qualify for free and reduced lunches at the school, it is not a requirement for participation.
