Northern New England communities assess damage from devastating flash flooding
Parts of Coos and Grafton counties are still recovering after last night’s thunderstorms that flooded many main roads, including Route 135. Firefighters and town officials were out Thursday surveying the aftermath in several communities, including Dalton, Littleton, Whitefield and Lancaster. State officials say they’re working with local communities to assist with the recovery.
Arrest made in fatal hit-and-run in Manchester, NH
A man has been arrested in connection to a hit-and-run that left a 71-year-old dead in Manchester, New Hampshire, earlier this month. Manchester police announced Friday night that Stanley Richardson, 59, of Candia, NH, had turned himself in after police located his vehicle last week and identified him as the driver.

GILFORD — Famed pranksters Impractical Jokers will perform at Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion in Gilford on Friday, July 26. “This is our fifth national tour, so the way the show works, it’s a live standup comedy show,” James “Murr” Murray said in an interview. “The guys and I are onstage the whole time, we tell stories from the TV show, what it’s like making the show, some of the best punishments and things you don’t know. New Hampshire Man Loses Control in Police Pursuit, Faces DUI Charges
Claremont, NH – A pursuit in Claremont ended in a crash Tuesday night after a trooper attempted to stop a stolen vehicle. According to the New Hampshire State Police, Trooper Michael Gilboy observed a vehicle failing to maintain its lane around 10:27 p.m. on Washington Street. The vehicle, reported stolen from Harrisville, fled when Gilboy activated his emergency lights. The driver, Anthony Wilson, 26, of Keene, NH, lost control and crashed.
