Deborah Nardozzi Walberger
PHOENIX, NY – April 20, 2024, Deborah Nardozzi Walberger, 69; of Phoenix, NY passed at home after a long illness. Deborah was born in Geneva, NY to the late Richard and Arlene (Cosentino) Nardozzi. She was a longtime resident of Fulton, NY and has been a resident of Phoenix, NY for 36 years. Mrs. Walberger retired from Fulton Consolidated School District where she worked at Fairgrave Elementary as a beloved Kindergarten Teacher for 37 years. Deborah’s greatest love and passion was being a teacher wife, mother, and loving grandmother and aunt. She also enjoyed gardening and she was an avid fan of the NY Yankees.
Kenneth G. Mclean II
HANNIBAL, NY – March 18, 2024, Kenneth “G-man” Mclean, 55; of Hannibal, NY died March 18, 2024, in the Oswego Hospital, after a battle with cancer. He was born in Oswego, NY to the late Kenneth G. and Doris (Demass) Mclean. He was a former employee of Babcock Oil, Fulton and Oswego Shippers and Growers, Oswego. G-man loved hunting, fishing and was a jack of all trades. He enjoyed mechanics and he enjoyed rebuilding cars, bikes and anything else that needed repair. He had a knack for repurposing materials of all kinds. G-man also loved racing and having a toddy or two.

Quirk’s Players Speak At Fulton Lions Club
Directors from Quirk’s Players, the student theatre troupe at G.Ray Bodley High School, were the featured program at the April 18 Fulton Lions Club meeting. Director Tom Briggs and Assistant Director Rob Lescarbeau shared highlights on the history of the organization, the many productions they have staged over the years, and the recent success of their spring production of Footloose. The organization presents two main productions a year and participates in at least one annual high school drama festival. The club made a $250 donation to Quirk’s Players at the meeting. Oswego County Health Department Announces May Mobile Food Pantries
OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Health Department partners with the Food Bank of Central New York to host multiple mobile food pantries around the county in May. Anyone in need of food assistance can attend a mobile food pantry to receive a free box of food. There are no income requirements for recipients; however, boxes are limited to one per household while supplies last.

FULTON – April 18, 2024, Gordon C. Smith, 91 of Scriba passed away peacefully at Upstate University Hospital on April 18, 2024, after a brief illness. He was born on December 14, 1932, to Roy V. and Mabel A. (Holbrook) Smith in New Haven. After graduating high school, he was employed by Sealright and Nestle. He enlisted in the United States Navy in December 1951 as an electronics technician for airplanes.
