Fulton Police Department Promotes and Awards Outstanding Officers at Common Council Meeting
FULTON – Tuesday, The Common Council meeting began with Fulton Police Chief Cutis recognizing promotions and awards for several police officers. Brian Dumas was promoted to Investigator, followed by David Hall, who was promoted to Sergeant and received the 2021 Officer of the Year and Oswego County Traffic Safety Award. Jacob Chernesky was also promoted to Sergeant. Officer Ryan Sweeting was named the 2022 Officer of the Year, and Officer David Wallace was promoted to Sergeant and named the 2023 Officer of the Year.
Former Hannibal Fire Chief and Father Arrested
NEW YORK – New York State Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli, Oswego County District Attorney Anthony J. DiMartino, Jr., and the New York State Police today announced the arrest of former Hannibal Fire Chief Chris Emmons for allegedly stealing $18,000, and Carl Emmons Sr., Chris Emmons’ father and a volunteer firefighter, for stealing over $2,500 from the fire company.
