Fulton Lions Dedicate Weston Memorial Bench
On June 5, the Fulton Lions Club dedicated an engraved granite bench in memory of Lion Bob Weston and his wife, Sandy, it was announced by club President Patrick Devendorf. The bench is located in Lock 3 Canal View Park next to the Fulton marina. Fulton Mayor Jim Rice, second from left, also a Fulton Lion, was on-hand for the dedication with many members of the Weston Family. Joining President Devendorf, second from right, were Lions Matt Overton, Ron Browning, David Dingman, Michelle Stanard, Becky Devendorf, Dennis Rupert, Jones and Guyer. OSWEGO COUNTY – June 11, 2024, Sharon A. Moody, 79 of Hannibal, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2024, at home surrounded by her loving family after a long term courageous battle with breast cancer. Sharon was born on November 21, 1944, to Norman and Elizabeth Ducharme in Fulton, NY and was a graduate of G Ray Bodley High School class of 1962. Sharon retired from the Hannibal Central School District after a 20 plus year career. Sharon loved spending time with her husband and together they loved to travel, spend time with their grandchildren and their family and friends. Sharon earned an honorary Black Belt in Tang Soo Do, was an avid Yankees and Syracuse University sports fan, was involved in many community events through the years donating her time and creativity as well as a member of the Hannibal School “Sassy Ladies”.

Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club Continues Its Support Blessing In A Backpack
Fulton Sunrise Rotary Club continues its support for providing nutritious food to our local elementary children who face food insecurity on the weekends. Club members gathered with volunteers at Prince of Peace Church to fill hundreds of Blessings In A Backpack bags. Theresa A. Orr, 84; of Oswego, NY passed away at Seneca Hill Manor, Volney, NY after a long illness. Theresa was born in Altoona, PA to the late Paul Koons and Gertrude (Trexler) and her stepfather: Paul Maloney. She has been a resident of Oswego for most of her life. Theresa worked as a private housekeeper for several local families. She was an immaculate housekeeper for those she served and for her own family at home. Theresa enjoyed golfing and she was a member at the Tamarack Golf Club, Oswego. She also enjoyed cooking, playing cards, dice games and watching car racing.
