OSWEGO – July 4, 2024, Theresa DeStevens (93) was reunited with Nicholas DeStevens, her beloved husband of 70 years, and her sons James DeStevens and Rick DeStefano at the heavenly gates on July 4, 2024. Theresa was born to Nicholas and Mary Castiglia, proud American citizens from Palermo, Sicily. Theresa was the last of the great Castiglia line, predeceased by her 10 siblings- Jane, Tony, Frank, Marion, Lucy, Joe, Edna, Rosalie, Betty and James.
Troopers searching for Runaway Teen from Oswego County
The New York State Police is attempting to locate 17-year-old Adriana N. Holley, from Volney, NY. Adrianna was last seen on June 16th, 2024, when she left her residence to the City of Fulton. She had contact with her mother on June 17th, 2024 through her social media accounts. She is known to frequent the City of Fulton and the City of Syracuse.

HANNIBAL – Mildred Marsha Reed, 59, passed away on June 28, 2024, at Upstate Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Mildred was born on October 17, 1964, in Sodus, NY. Mildred loved music, dancing, and making jokes. Her favorite place was in the sun. She hated Upstate NY winters. She enjoyed going on vacation in Florida with her dear sister-in-laws and nieces and nephews.

December 3, 2023 – Frank Anthony Corsoneti, 81, of Fulton, New York and Florida, passed away peacefully on December 3, 2023 with family by his side. Born November 9, 1942, to Frank J. and Joan J. (Santoro) Corsoneti, Frank was well known as a local businessman, involving himself in a variety of pursuits in upstate New York. As an entrepreneur, Frank established his own shop, Mr. Frank’s Hair Salon and Frank Anthony Real Estate. He was also involved in local conservative-based politics, culminating in a run for his hometown’s Mayor position. In his leisure time, Frank enjoyed daily chats with his cousin, Tony, who amongst others, Frank held dear to his heart.

FULTON – July 2, 2024 – Michelle Coant, 58, of Fulton passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 2, 2024 with her loving family by her side. Michelle was born September 26, 1965 in Syracuse and enjoyed spending time with her family and visiting her grandparents’ farm. She was a dedicated employee of Oswego Industries for over 40 years and was currently attending their Senior Program. She enjoyed watching sports especially SU sports, the New York Mets and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. In her free time, Michelle liked crossword and word search puzzles. She also loved to color pictures to give to her family and friends. Michelle was a member of the Fulton First United Methodist Church.

Born in Oswego, NY to the late Maynard and Nancy (Morse) Gardner, Linda spent her 79 years loving and living life to the fullest.

OSWEGO – Grace A. Raes, 90, of Oswego, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2024. Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Harold and Mildred (French) Clark. Grace worked as a secretary for the NYS Sea Grant Extension Program, retiring in 1997. She was also a church organist for 74 years. Grace was a member of Minetto Methodist Church, OABPW, and the Ladies Home Council. She was a volunteer at the hospital, “sang” in the college’s Festival Chorus, and was a member of the Tuesday and Sunday afternoon dominoes club at Shady Lane. Her hobbies included walking with her friends, sewing, crossword puzzles, playing Free Cell and Scrabble, baking, cooking, painting, going on trips, writing, making people laugh, and making crafts which she entered in the State Fair and won 2 blue ribbons. Grace had a kind soul, who always tried to be a good person. Grace’s passion in life was her love for her husband and her family. She adored them and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
