We also were surprised by a muskrat swimming in the pool at the top of Big Falls. It was having fun in the water and running over the rocks.

Registration open for week of community free blueberry picking at Beech Hill
ROCKPORT — “The ‘Blues’ will be ready early again this year,” said Coastal Mountains Land Trust, in a news release. CMLT invites everyone to pick berries at Beech Hill Preserve. As CMLT did last year, instead of selling blueberries, it will offer a week of community free picks, from Sunday, July 21 through Saturday, July 27, from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m., each day. An evening pick will be held on Thursday, July 25, from 5 - 7 p.m.
