Holland Man Hurt After Motorcycle Crash Near Nunica
CROCKERY TWP., MI (WHTC-AM/FM, July 26, 2024) – A 19-year-old Holland man was hospitalized after his motorcycle crashed near Nunica on Friday evening. According to Ottawa County Sheriff’s Sergeant Shane Ryke, the unnamed biker was westbound on Leonard Street, approaching 112th Avenue, shortly before 8 PM when he apparently failed to negotiate a curve and lost control of his machine. He sustained serious injuries and was taken to Trinity Health Muskegon for treatment. No other vehicles were involved.

HARTFORD, MI – A small city in Southwest Michigan is considering dissolving its police force amid ongoing issues with staffing, leadership and turnover. CALHOUN COUNTY, MI -- An eastbound lane on I-94 near Battle Creek will close from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, July 29.
