House fire in Ottawa County caused by lightning strike
OTTAWA COUNTY, MI – A home caught fire overnight when it was struck by lightning, Jamestown Township firefighters reported. Firefighters responded to a 1:15 a.m. report of a fire on Tuesday, July 16, at a home on Riley Street near 8th Avenue. Officials say the fire started after the home was struck by lightning.
