Former kids football coach accused of stealing thousands from league pleads guilty
TOLEDO, Ohio (WTVG) - A former Genoa youth football coach who police say stole thousands of dollars from the league for personal use took a plea deal. Court records show Phil Antry pleaded guilty to a Theft charge, amended from a Grand Theft charge, on July 1 in Ottawa County. He could face up to 12 months in prison and a $2,500 fine.

Survey calls for public opinion on park designs
CATAWBA ISLAND, Ohio — The public has an opportunity to provide input into the design of two new Ottawa County parks. The two parks, West Harbor Preserve and Islander Woods and Trailhead, cover a combined 19 acres in Catawba Island Township. The Park District of Ottawa County’s survey seeks to gather information about what kinds of activities and natural features park-goers prefer, including trail and water access, bird watching, conservation, and picnic areas. The survey will remain open through July 12 and is accessible at surveymonkey.com/r/ParkDistrictofOttawaCountySurvey.
