Putnam common pleas

Garrett Schroeder, 19, Ottawa, appeared for sentencing on three counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, one a fourth-degree felony, the other two first-degree misdemeanors; illegal use of minor or impaired person in nudity-oriented material or performance, a fifth-degree felony; and menacing by stalking, a first-degree misdemeanor. He was given a 75-month prison term with credit for 61 days served in jail while his case was pending.

Douglas Marihugh, 27, pleaded not guilty to felonious assault, a second-degree felony with a firearm specification and specification for the forfeiture of a weapon; domestic violence, a first-degree misdemeanor; and using weapons while intoxicated, a first-degree misdemeanor. A pretrial hearing was scheduled for June 18 and his bond was continued.
