Major Traffic Delays Ahead: Olean’s Walkable Olean Phase III Construction to Impact East State Street
(WNY News Now) – Olean – Significant traffic delays are expected on East State Street in Olean as the Walkable Olean Phase III construction project progresses. Construction continues on East State Street from Front Street to North Union Street. Work at the Barry Street intersection will begin July 22nd. There will be significant traffic delays as it will be down to one lane traffic at times, detours will be in place through the completion of the project. It is recommended that motorists find alternate routes. We appreciate your patience as we undertake this project.

(WNY News Now) – Jamestown – A routine traffic stop in Jamestown uncovers over seven grams of crack cocaine, leading to a significant drug arrest. On the evening of July 13, 2024, at approximately 8:43 PM, officers from the Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon conducted a traffic stop near Barrett Avenue and the Barrett Avenue Ramp for observed traffic infractions. The driver, identified as 55-year-old Denise L. Pattyson, was pulled over and subsequently investigated by the officers.
