An Air Quality Alert is in effect until 9 AM Monday for Mesa County and Garfield County in Western Colorado. This includes areas around Grand Junction, Fruita, Glade Park, Palisade, Clifton, Orchard Mesa, the Redlands, Parachute, Rifle, and Glenwood Springs. Air quality could become unhealthy, and it could be especially dangerous for those who have respiratory illness or heart disease. It’s best to avoid being outside in the smoke. If you have to go outside, limit your time outdoors and don’t do anything to strenuous.
