A mountain town sting operation has resulted in the arrest of three men on charges related to child prostitution.

The arrests were part of a recent effort that aimed to combat the exploitation of children online. It was conducted by the Summit County Sheriff's Office in partnership with the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, the Colorado Fifth Judicial District Attorney's Office, and the Summit County 911 Center.

Through the operation, roughly 100 people allegedly expressed an initial interest in soliciting a prostitute, with 10 of those people expressing that they desired to pursue sexual acts with children.

During an in-person meet-up on August 15, three men arrived at an agreed-upon location in Summit County with the alleged intent to pay for sex acts with children. This location appears to be some sort of cabin in a wooded area, based on body camera footage from the arrests. The three men showed up separately and independently and were immediately arrested, transported, and booked at the Summit County Detention Facility.

Men who were arrested based on probable cause include Isaish Rapheal Brown of unincorporated Breckenridge, Andrew James Wright of Twin Lakes, and Mark Saeyoon Kim of Denver. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Numerous charges were involved in the case applying to one or multiple suspects, including soliciting for child prostitution, attempting to patronize a prostituted child, attempted sexual assault on a child, cybercrime, luring a child with intent to exploit, and attempted contribution to the delinquency of a minor.

It's also worth noting that no children were involved or used in this operation, with the operation conducted solely by professional law enforcement personnel.

“While we wish these crimes didn’t occur, we know they do, and we work tirelessly to address this reality," said Summit County Sheriff Jaime FitzSimons on the results of the operation. "I thank the Sheriff’s Office team and our partner agencies for the safe and successful execution of this operation. It’s crucial to know who your children interact with online and to talk openly about internet safety and potential dangers."

"If you suspect a child is being sexually exploited, contact Summit County non-emergency dispatch at (970) 668-8600 or dial 911 in an emergency," read a press release on the case. "Suspected child sexual exploitation or missing children may also be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, via its toll-free 24-hour hotline, (800) 843-5678."
