Colorado escape room in the running for best in country

Escape rooms immerse players in various unique adventures, including escaping laboratories to unearthing secrets on archaeological dig sites, according to USA Today.

Voting is open for USA Today's 10Best contest for best escape rooms in the country, and one Colorado escape room was nominated.

USA Today's 10Best is an awards program that highlights the best in destinations, food and drink, hotels, and things to do. An expert panel selects the nominees and readers then vote to determine the winners.

Littleton's Mystic Escape Room was nominated. According to USA Today, the escape room has earned "abundant acclaim" across Colorado due to its "truly unique adventures, with each one boasting a high degree of automation to keep visitors on their toes." Mystic Escape Room offers multiple adventures, including the Indiana Jones-themed adventure "The Adventure of Time," and "The Book of Souls," where participants must reverse an ancient curse. And lastly, players will steal the most prestigious diamond in the world in "The Pink Panther" heist.

Mystic Escape Room is currently in eighteenth place. Readers can vote once daily until voting ends on Oct. 21 at noon, and the ten winners will be announced on Oct. 28.
