HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Eyewitness News is announcing new roles for two of its anchors.

Brandon Bartlett will co-host Eyewitness News at Five on ABC 25 with Shelley Kirk.  The two have been the co-anchors of Eyewitness News at 6 & 10 for the past year and a half.  Bartlett is an Owensboro native who has spent most of his professional career in the Evansville TV market.  That includes seven years at Eyewitness News.

Bartlett said, “Being chosen to anchor Eyewitness News at 5, 6, and 10 on ABC 25 is an incredible honor and a dream come true. While growing up in Owensboro, my family watched News 25 with Brad and Shelley every night while eating dinner. Never did I think I would get to work alongside them, much less fill his seat one day. While no one can replace Brad, I’m humbled and inspired to continue bringing our viewers the same dedication and integrity every evening.

Weekend anchor Hannah Haerle will move to a Monday-through-Friday role.  She and Jessica Costello will co-anchor Eyewitness News at 6:30 & 9 on CW 7.  Haerle is a Newburgh native.  She joined Eyewitness News upon graduation from the University of Indianapolis.

Haerle said, “I have served as the weekend anchor for over a year and have cultivated valuable relationships along the way that will last a lifetime. I’m thrilled to be taking this next step in my career as I join the weeknight evening anchor team at Eyewitness News. This is truly a dream come true for the little girl that grew up watching this station each night in my living room. I feel both grateful and honored to be able to continue telling the Tri-State’s stories for years to come.”

Haerle will continue to anchor the weekend shows until her replacement is named.
