Owensboro Health announces new director of Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center

HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) – Owensboro Health has announced the appointment of Bill Jordan as the new director of the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center.

Officials say Jordan began his role on July 15, and reports directly to Chris Sale, Owensboro Health Vice President of Operations. In his new role, Jordan will oversee Radiation Oncology, Oncology Infusion, the Hematology/Oncology clinic, tumor registries and Oncology research.

“With decades of leadership experience in Oncology operations, Bill has consistently demonstrated his ability to drive positive results in quality, efficiency and patient experience,” Sale said. “We are confident that his expertise and commitment will be instrumental in further elevating the exceptional care provided at the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center.”

Officials say his extensive professional background includes senior leadership roles at Integrated Oncology Network, Tulane Health System and OptumCare Cancer Care, among others. Jordan is well-versed in Meditech, NextGen, and EPIC Beacon.
