LEXINGTON, Ky. ( FOX 56 ) — A Kentucky woman is taking her fight against abortion restrictions nationwide in a new ad campaign for President Joe Biden .

Hadley Duvall of Owensboro gained notoriety when she began telling her story during the governor’s race between Gov. Andy Beshear and former Attorney General Daniel Cameron. In an ad campaign, she discussed the consequences of abortion restrictions, especially when states don’t have exceptions for rape or incest.

Duvall was also the name-sake for Senate Bill 99 , named Hadley’s Law, which was introduced on Jan. 9. The bill sought to add exceptions for rape, incest, fetal anomalies, and serious health complications for the mother to Kentucky’s abortion ban. The bill never received a committee assignment, which means it never even started the process of being debated by lawmakers.

Duvall shared her story with the nation in the new ad campaign. She became pregnant in middle school as a result of being raped by her stepfather. She said many more horror stories are going unheard.

“The first thing that was told to me when I saw that positive pregnancy test was, ‘you have options’ and you know if Row v. Wade would have been overturned sooner, I wouldn’t have heard that,” Duvall said in the one-minute ad.
