Car show takes over Sportscenter, Moreland Park

Friday afternoon, numerous food trucks were setting up shop in the parking lot of the Owensboro Sportscenter, while volunteers were busy getting Moreland Park ready for the return of the Bluegrass Legends Experience II car show.

Only a few classic cars and hot rods were at the park in the early afternoon, but Jimmy Allyn, who organizes the event with his wife Janie Rhoads, expected that to change dramatically by the time the show opens up Saturday morning.
