Baby Formula Faces Temporary Shortage After Tornado Damages Indiana Warehouse
A tornado damaged a third-party warehouse in Mount Vernon, Indiana that stored raw materials and finished products for Reckitt's Mead Johnson baby formula. The warehouse is out of action, diverting deliveries to other U.S. warehouses in the short term. Some formula varieties will be affected in the short term until the warehouse is operational again. Reckitt is working with customers, suppliers, and the global supply chain to minimize disruption by using other U.S. warehouses and inventory.

The Indiana Office of Utility Consumer Counselor (OUCC) is recommending a 60% reduction in Duke Energy's request, including no increase to the monthly residential customer service charge and a reduction in Duke Energy's authorized return on equity.
