HOPKINSVILLE, KY (CHRISTIAN COUNTY NOW) – A special graduation ceremony was held at Challenge House #7 Friday night as teens completed the annual AT&T program. The Attitude, Training, and Teamwork summer program allows high school teens to learn about different career paths and job shadow. On July 19, they were given their graduation certificates, a $200 paycheck for their hard work. As a surprise, representatives from the AT&T company gifted each of them a laptop and backpack with school supplies.

Bobcats win 7-on-7 tournament championship at South Laurel
Despite long being known for their power ground game, the Bell County Bobcats are showing this summer they will be able to throw the ball with junior quarterback Blake Burnett returning to lead the offense. Bell won seven scrimmages Friday to capture the championship of the South Laurel seven-on-seven tournament. Leading receivers for the Bobcats included Joseph Brigmon, Cayden Huff, Hunter Average, Hayden Damron and Kaleb Miller. Bell defeated Madison Southern, Nicholas County and Lynn Camp in pool play, then downed Lynn Camp, Rockcastle County, Madison Southern and Harrison County in the tournament.
