LANSING, Mich. (WLNS)– The Owosso Charter Township Fire Department says they were dispatched to a house fire on the 5000 block of W. Dewey Rd, between S. Ruess Rd. and S. Baldwin.

The fire started around 2:30 a.m., said Fire Chief Mike Ardelean. He believes a lightning strike is what caused the fire to break out. The fire caused significant damage to the home.
