SANFORD, Maine — A toddler is being treated after police say he suffered a gunshot injury to his hand during an incident Tuesday afternoon at a home in Sanford. Emergency officials were notified shortly before 4:30 p.m. about possible gunshots heard on Shaw Road, the Sanford Police Department said in a news release.
