Ole Miss QB Jaxson Dart trades social media barbs with star SEC defender

Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart was down at the Manning Passing Academy over the weekend when he took an unsolicited shot on social media from Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman Jr.

Video emerged from the camp with Dart missing on two deep throws despite clearly just trying to entertain the campers. Dart thought nothing of it and had a full smile as he was just trying to put on a fun show for the younger kids.

That was until Bowman quote tweeted the video on Sunday with a caption that read "pick six."

Dart fired right back after receiving more bulletin board material ahead of Ole Miss' 2024 campaign.

These two guys are both highly skilled players at their respective positions. Dart enters the season as a Heisman dark horse while Bowman earned first-team All-Big 12 honors last season. He also snagged six interceptions along the way.

This could be the beginning of a budding rivalry between Ole Miss and Oklahoma. The two are set to square off on Saturday, October 24 in Oxford, so time will tell which player ultimately gets the last laugh.
