We'll have to wait a few more days before we hear from Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones' at the annual State of the Union address on the tennis courts in Oxnard, California, the site of the team's first portion of training camp.

The organization announced Monday that the opening press conference scheduled for Wednesday has been postponed until Saturday.

The presser will begin at 11 a.m. CT and can be heard on 105.3 The Fan.

The release made no mention of why the press conference would be delayed, however, Clarence Hill of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports that Jones will be unable to address the media before the team's first practice on Thursday because he'll be attending the infamous paternity suit trial in Texarkana, Arkansas this week.

Hill reports that Jones will take the stand on the first day of the trial, which begins Monday morning at the federal courthouse in Texarkana. The trial is expected to last four or five days.

Jones is suing Alexandra Davis, who claims to be his daughter, for allegedly breaching a contract agreed upon between Jones and Davis' mother Cynthia in 1998.

Davis filed a defamation lawsuit against Jones but it was dismissed in March, prompting Jones' countersuit.

A federal judge ruled in February that Jones would have to submit to a paternity test and that case is ongoing in Dallas County.

Jones denies he is Davis' father.
